We thank Majda and Samara, for gracing us with their enormous talents and energy!

Majda was the founder, producer and artistic director of "The Soul of Oriental Dance". Majda, also the co-creator, co-producer and performer, of Oriental Images, the first all professional dance company to mainstream Middle-Eastern dance.
In her solo career, she has performed frequently on cruises around the Mediterranean, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Tunisia, and Spain and in major hotels in Bermuda, Aruba and Curacao. Majda also toured Switzerland, performing and teaching workshops with the group Transition.
Majda's show stopping use of swords, candelabrum, and cane have been featured in a variety of productions. Majda was a 1997 American Academy Middle Eastern Dance Hall of Fame Inductee.

Samara began dancing professionally in her teens,
and has become one of the more celebrated and sought after dancers of today. A protégé
of the late master Ibrahim Farrah, she performed with his
internationally acclaimed Near East Dance Group in some of the most prestigious
concert arenas in the US, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy
Center, New York's Town Hall, Theatre of The Riverside Church, and the
Spoleto Festival. In additional, she has performed with some with some of
the most famous singing stars of the Middle East.
Samara was a 1998 inductee into the American Academy of Middle Eastern Dance Hall of Fame. Samara is engaged regularly as a soloist in Middle Eastern Nightclubs and special events in New York City and through out the US, and is a popular seminar instructor, conducting dance workshops across the US and abroad.
As special guest artist, she has performed in Mexico, the Caribbean, Paris, London, China, Japan, West Africa, Jordan, Greece, Turkey, Russia, and throughout the Middle East. Samara has appeared on television, including the MTV Awards where she danced with Christina Aguilera.
A trained actress, she has appeared on the New York stage. Most Recently , she has choreographed and performed in the off-off Broadway production of Banat el Emir or The Dancing Princesses, and Caravan To Cairo, which tours to schools and other performing arts venues in the New York area. As a professional model, she worked in the US and in Europe in runway, print and fashion
