Hip Scarves are a wonderful accessory to all bellydancers, both professionals and beginners alike.

Most are designed to have a number of rows of double crocheted coins to make a great jingly sound that help accentuate the dancer's hip movements.  Either tied around the hips, or draped over the shoulders like a shawl, it compliments a dancer's "look" not only because of it's style but also due to it's eye catching color.
