"Divine Divas of Oriental Belly Dance"
The cream of the crop of belly dancers, each doing a specialty number.

August 14, 2003, at the Josie Robertson Stage. 

Shamira who was hired by the "Lincoln Center" to put together a show as part of their free summer out-of-doors concert series entertained a blackout stricken City, then gave a few stranded commuters a ride to GWB.  Now that's entertainment with a special touch!

 Samara (Turkish Gypsy), and Elena (veil & floor work)
as  accompanied by Shamira's Band - The Mogador Band.

The show went ON, despite the major blackout that paralyzed an entire State.
The Divas entertained a throng of stranded commuters.

To those who were there, the Divas THANK YOU!  To those who were casualties of the blackout, everyone is hoping that all is well now and that you are all safe!
