Directions to The Rutherford Elks Banquet Hall

From NJ Turnpike:
Exit 16W. Follow all signs for 16W.
After going through 2 sets of tolls, follow signs for "3W-Sports Complex-Rutherford."
Take 3W (Route 3 West).
Go past the exits for 17 North and 17 South.
Take the next exit for "Ridge Rd/Park Ave."
Go straight through the first stop sign and continue straight. You are now on Marginal Rd.
Go right at the next stop sign onto Park Ave (there is no street sign).
Go exactly 1 mile. You will go through the center of town.
Go left on Ames Ave, one block before the circle (just after "Subway" sandwiches and Bank of New York on the left). If you get to the circle/railroad station, you went too far. Simply turn around and come back one block.
Go one block on Ames to the Elks Lodge on the right.
Park in the street or in "Shopper Parking" across the street from the Elks Lodge.

To go back, go down Park Ave for one mile. Go left at the light when you see the green NJ Turnpike sign (no street sign, but that is Rutherford Ave). Make the first possible left to get onto Route 3 east. There are signs for turnpike and Rte 3.

From G.W. Bridge:
Take 95 South (NJ Turnpike) to exit 16W. Follow above directions.

From Lincoln Tunnel:
Take Route 3 West. Follow above directions.

From Garden State Parkway:
Take Exit 153A (Route 3 East) and go past the Passaic River. Take the Park Avenue exit. Make a left on to Park Ave., cross over Route 3. Follow above directions.

Cost each way = $2.80

From NY Port Authority to Rutherford Railroad Station:
Bus # 190
Leaving Gate# 223

The bus runs every 15 mins
4:00pm, 4:15pm ... etc.

It will take approximately 25mins from NY Port authority to Rutherford Railroad Station.
The Elks Lodge located at 48 Ames Avenue is about 1-1/2 blocks from the station. Easy!!

Going home the bus runs every 15 mins.
9:02pm, 9:17pm, 9:32pm ... etc.
The bus runs 24 hours.

Train runs every hour. Call 1-800-626-7433 (press 0) to verify Sunday train schedule.

From NY Penn Station to Rutherford Railroad Station:
Buy $5.50 round trip Ticket for Bergen County Line at NY Penn Station.
Check monitors for train number and gate info.

Schedule: Train # 1875, leaves NY Penn Station at 4:14pm, arrives in Secaucus Junction at 4:23pm. Transfer to Bergen line, leaves Secaucus at 4:30pm to arrive at Rutherford Train Station at 4:38pm. Elks is 1-1/2 blocks from Rutherford Railroad Station.

Going back to NY: Train # 1880, leaves Rutherford Railroad Station at 9:03pm, arrives Secaucus Junction at 9:11pm. Transfer to NY line, leaving Secaucus junction at 9:20pm to arrive at NY Penn Station at 9:35pm.
