was enriched with seductive music and beautiful dancing and performance by not
only Shamira, but by the other guests and students who participated throughout
the evening. It seemed as if we were all in our own little world and there was
peace and happiness during this time. As a percussionist, I also had the honor
and privilege to perform with Shamband and played the Tabla. What a
wonderful way to expand my thirst for new musical experiences. At the end of
the day, Shamira's performance and party is unforgettable!"

Dear Shamira,
I would like to THANK YOU and Angeline for the beautiful party.
Your description of the dance is truly what transpired that night…. It was PURE
MAGIC !!!!!!!
And it was so incredibly inspirational…
When you started to dance I looked at the meaning of the colors and I was
telling myself that I REALLY needed COURAGE to get up and dance, since I am
always so shy and self-conscious of not moving well or making mistakes…It was as
if everytime I decided to dance I felt “FROZEN” in my muscles…by the fear of the
public.
Then… when you pulled out the RED veil I felt like… drawn to it… and when you
told me… “dance with me”…. It was so AMAZING…
I just wanted to dance with you !!!!!!!!
and all the fears and worries melted away,…
Thank You so much for a truly MEMORABLE evening
It meant SO MUCH to me !!!!

Thanks so much for throwing that party with Shamira. What a blast we had.
Shamira's dancing is always hypnotic. She never ceases to amaze me. I'm so
lucky to have her as my sister!
What a great time we had dancing to the most amazing music. How about my
nephew?! Was he a hoot or what?

Hi, Angeline and Shamira,
Thank you for the e-mails and photos of the party. My Mom, my friends and I
all had a great time!
The food was very good, the band was terrific and Shamira was radiant!
Shamira, when you had the 12 women dance together with the many colored
veils, it reminded me of when all of us "butterflies" danced on the lawn at
Omega!! Beautiful !!!!
You made a few new converts, as Suzanne, Joanne and Dori all want to take
belly dance lessons now! Please let me know about any upcoming workshops or
classes, so they can get started.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you both every happiness in
the New Year!

Hi, Angeline. You beat me to the punch! I was going to e-mail you anyway
today. Your event was just fabulous. We walked in and received a present (CD)
before our coats were even off. We just loved the food, the ambiance, the
cleanliness, the wonderful band, the quality of the sound system and lighting,
and Shamira's creative performance. I must say it was absolutely worth the cost
and the icy drive.
It is a rare occasion that a nonprofessional dancer like me can get up and
"play" with a live band. It was such an amazing stress reliever after teaching
first-graders all day. I hope more events like this come up. We want to get
up and dance! If you know of places that have a live band playing and lots of
open floor time, please let me know.

These parties are always a blast. It's so cool to see people of all ages

As the party was soaring , which it continued to do so until it was time to pull
the plug on the instruments , sound system & the people ( I mean people have
lives to get back to - as much as we all would like to , our mundane
responsibilities tell us that we cannot dwell completely in Pure Exhilaration
as we did all of last night at Shamira's DVD Release Party ).
Last night at The Elks Banquet Hall you were VIBRATING WITH JOY.
How did I know that ?
Because when you put your arm around my waist , my body felt that YOU WERE
EXPERIENCING A VIBRATION MAX - OUT !!!!!!!!!

Dear Angeline,
I was just speaking with Robin about what a fun night we had. There is NOTHING
like a live band, and these guys were wonderful. Of course, it made my evening
when Elias Sarkar told me he remembered me (and my maiden name!) from 30+ years
ago when he played for many of Serena's student parties.
Shamira's show was fabulous as we knew it would be. I loved the 12 veils. She
is so creative and just such a beautiful dancer.
Can't wait till next time - maybe we won't have to wait another year????

.....the only way I can describe how you
documented Pure Party on your website .
You let your clear accurate perceptions , your enthusiasm and your great
photos of the event tell the story . You did not " get in the way " of the
story of
Shamira's DVD Release Party . You just allowed it to " flow through " you .
That's what " art " at its' best is . Pure Party's success demonstrates that
when you set
out to "make things happen," you approach this" make it happen " task so
selflessly
and lovingly , that you turn it into an " art form." For nearly 2 months prior
to
this event , you nurtured both the " practical " and " creative " details ,
which
resulted in the success of the evening . The night was so seamless , you made
it seem easy . But it was not an easy thing to pull off . You worked hard and
it
showed .... IT SHINED !!!
I especially loved that you included my VIBRATIONAL MAX - OUT letter on
your YallahDance Website .
